The best mods we could muster for a short rider to tour the 690!BLOG=
The KTM's are the extremes. The EXC's will be much better dirt bikes than the WRR and the 690 will be a much better road bike. To me, the WRR fits in the middle. It's both a solid road bike and a solid dirt bike that can take you down pretty much any trail a novice to intermediate rider would probably go.
2024 KTM 500 EXC-F. For the 350 EXC-F and 500 EXC-F (pictured) street-legal dirt bikes, a new steering lock system is now clamped under the upper triple clamp for a clean look and easy
2022 KTM 250/450 SX-F. Notes: The stock bar bend dimensions on the orange brigade is also decent, but it’s too stiff and long (insert your own joke here). If you don’t think it’s too stiff, you can simply cut the bar to 805mm and run it! Preferred: Pro Taper EVO Race Team cut to 805mm (W)810 (H)91 (R)49 (S)52.
KTM's 790 stock height and weight distribution is more comfortable for shorter folks. You can get lower links and lower seat. I don't know if the 890 shares the same spec (probably). KLR's are tall, vStroms are tall, Tigers are tall. KTM 690 Enduro is tall but skinny like a dirt bike (SM shorter).

Melbourne AU. try the easy things first. check all connections, check fuses, sometimes fuse looks ok but its blown, good to check with multimeter. charge battery. put in neutral, clutch in, side stand up. just to eliminate some switch issues. i had lose connector on diode on my 640 and it wouldn't start.
Now, re-install the storage bin, and seat supports. Next, secure the storage bin using the supplied M5 screws to the support through the holes you just drilled. The seat supports use the factory upper two stepped bolts, and the lower holes are secured using large flange M6 nuts, or normal M6 nuts with backup washers.
