🎏 Euro Truck Simulator 2 Vr Not Working

Hi All! I've just got a meta quest 3 and I can't get it to work with Euro Truck Simulator 2. Before I start, I know that ETS2 doesn't fully support VR so I'm likely to have some troubles with it but I can't even get it to start. My issue is that when ever I have the headset on I'm just looking at a big screen of ETS2. First of all after downloading & Installing You Run vorpX configure & on the Gerneral Tab Set your vr device to whatever it is & then in the next box down (Controller) set to Auto. Go into your config.cfg File & make sure (user g_tobi is set to (0) & also (user g_trackir is also set to (0) . Save & exit. Run vorpX Desktop viewer. Euro Truck Simulator 2. Windows 11 VR Performance. I recently upgraded to Windows 11 cleanly from ISO and having tested a variety of games in VR and out I seem to have reprojection and performance problems just in Euro Truck Simulator 2. I am using the same settings as before but its always reprojecting where before it didn't. Euro Truck Simulator 2. Extreme VR problems. I just bougt me an Oculus Rift. Downloaded SteamVR, added -oculus as the command line parameter and unchecked "Use Desktop Game Theatre while SteamVR is active". Now I have extreme problems with the game. Most of the time the game music plays but i have a blackscreen on my desktop and my Rift. I'm new to the game and one thing I'd love is to be able to see the real local time (not the time that appears on the GPS) somewhere inside the truck, preferably on the GPS or dashboard. I've looke for a mod but couldn't find any. I know I can see the time if I pause the game but it's very immersion breaking and sometimes I just lose track of time and would like to know when it's time to go to Only got as far as installing from steam, adding a few mods, and configuring my controller so far. I'll try to fire the game up tonight with -openvr and see if it works. I set the controls and graphics options in monitor mode. Unsure which gfx options will end up working.. I don't even know if it looks passable in VR yet ;P. Same here, in VR and without on 2 seperate systems. The VR system has a 2080 super and a I7-10700k with 32GB ram and the other non vr has a 1050 and i5-7300HQ with 16gb ram. Since it's a game from 2012 i don't think it's system related anyway, unless it's poorly optmised, which it probably is. Any opinions on why DirectX could not be working. It may be possible that your GPU does not fully support DX11.1. If your other games are using DX9 or DX12 they won't have any problems, but ETS2 uses DX11.1 currently. But in concept if that works, you just might be able to combine it with OpenVR2Key to map your oculus controllers buttons to the hot keys you are using to control the other game functions, and then use the motion of the oculus controllers to steer the truck with a real steering motionjust an idea. 2. ravensergio. Tested games: American Truck Simulator, Automobilista 2, Asseto Corsa, Asseto Corsa Competizione, Beat Saber, DCS World, Dirt Rally (With Revive), Dirt Rally 2, Elite Dangerous, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Google Earth VR, Half Life Alyx, IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad, Project Cars 2, Race Room Experience 64, Race Room Experience 32 Bit If I have the headset laying on the desk when I start the game it puts me in odd places sometimes. Also try calibrating your VR in SteamVR. Not sure if you've used it yet or not but you can find it by hovering over your Library tab and then selecting tools, scroll down to find SteamVR (it's a free install) and run it after it installs. From what I've heard, only one, maybe two people work on the VR branch right now. Hardware required to run a VR setup is actually outside the grasp of most people who would play this game anyway. You've got a system itself that costs anywhere from $1,700 to $2,500 to run the whole thing on its own at fluid framerates, on top of the ~$400-$700 .
